I was watching the news the other night and saw a commercial for a Michigan Cadillac car dealership advertising a new 2011 Cadillac AWD CST for only $169 per month. Is this deal possible? What’s the catch?
Here’s the real deal:
2011 Cadillac CTS AWD = $39.590.00 MSRP
You can get to this payment of $169 per month IF:
- You qualify for GM Preferred Pricing with Employee Vehicle Allowance (previously called GMS or employee pricing)
- You put $3,000 cash down
- You pay all fees – tax, tags, title, doc, acquisition
- Lease is for 24 months with 10,000 allowable miles per year.
Not a bad deal if you have the cash to put down.
What if you don’t want to put any cash down? How about the same 24 month lease with 10,000 miles per year for $298 per month with $321 due at signing? Oh . . . you still have to pay the taxes.
